Fundraise For COAMED
Activate your community to support our mission by holding your own fundraiser, such as silent auctions, concerts, or bake sales, school rallies, etc and spread the word about our work. Just use your imagination and make things happen to fundraise to our foundation.

Charity Donation Participation
A wonderful way to give your support to our Missionary work is by donating items that we can use in the Gala for auction. Anything you can contribute, entertainment, music, fashion, sports, travel, art and collectables, fine merchandise, business experiences and so on. Your donations will be auctioned online and thoughout the Gala.

Join the Colombo American Medical Association
At COAMED Foundation, we are so committed to our Missionary Work that we contribute over $100,000 dollars annually to support the greatest needs in our missionary work. If you are a Doctor or if you are in the medical field, become a member of the Colombo American Medical Association, a cornerstone group that operates our missions, bringing health, preventive care and opportunities for Florida people and International communities; join the doctors, nurses and medical personnel to do what they know best.

Leave a Legacy with a Bequest
Consider making a planned gift to create a legacy for your family and your community. An excellent way for you to support our mission is to leave us a bequest in your will, living trust, or with a codicil. One significant benefit of making a gift by bequest is that it allows you to continue to use the property you will leave to charity during your life. Our highly trained team can assist you with any personal or financial charitable goals you may have through bequests, charitable gift annuities, land donation, or other options.

Corporate Gift Acceptance policy
COAMED Foundation recognizes the potential conflict between receiving donations from certain types of corporations and fulfilling our humanitarian programs. Therefore, the following policy is in place to guide our corporate fundraising practices Policy:
COAMED Foundation is authorized to solicit and accept funds from corporations (including companies, multinational corporations, corporate foundations, small businesses, and other corporate entities) except those from excluded industries as outlined in this section.
COAMED Foundation will not accept contributions from companies and their respective corporate foundations as well as entities that lobby on their behalf, whose core activities may be in direct conflict with the goals of the medical humanitarian work of COAMED Foundation or which may limit COAMED Foundation’s ability to provide humanitarian assistance in any way.
Excluded companies include those that derive a significant portion of their income from the production and/or sale of tobacco, alcohol, arms, pharmaceuticals (including: medicines, medical equipment, therapeutic foods, diagnostic and biotechnical materials, and research), and/or mineral, oil, gas, or other extractive industries.
Excluded contributions include: (a) outright gift of cash, (b) corporate events, (c) donations of goods and services, (d) sponsorship or partnerships, (e) company matching gifts, and (f) recognition gifts.
The use of the COAMED Foundation logo by a corporate partner must be restricted to appropriate uses only, and care should be taken to ensure that COAMED Foundation’s name and reputation is not harmed or diluted by excessive or inappropriate promotion.
COAMED Foundation reserves the right to refuse donations from any corporate entity.
