Dr Ramirez earned her Doctor of Medicine and Surgery Degree from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia. Since moving to the USA in 2003, she has worked as a Physician Executive for Primary Care Groups with expertise in the areas of Population Management, Health Care Administration and Quality Assurance.
In 2007 she earned a Masters of Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of South Florida – USF. She currently works as the Medical Utilization Director for a group of 76+ Primary Care Physicians in Central Florida.
Dr Ramirez has been an active member of the Board of Directors for Coamed Association and Foundation since 2014. She currently serves as Member at Large for the Board of Coamed Foundation where she is responsible for coordinating and facilitating fundraising activities and hopes to continue working to impact the lives of underserved communities by participating in the multiple events and missions that Coamed supports.
